I expected our dossier be in Ethiopia by Valentine's Day. Nope. Not happening. There are some little issues with some documents that need worked out before they can be State-certified. Not a big deal, but a delay. We have been told to expect our patience to be tested with this process. Um, yes
At the same time, we are praising God that the next fee ($6400) that is due when our dossier is sent to Ethiopia is nearly all covered by the generosity of family and friends over the last several months as well as my little etsy shop! How wonderful to see God's hand providing for this little girl already.
Another bit of happy news today is that we are approved for a no-interest loan through ABBA Fund that will help through the final big chunk of our adoption expenses near the end as we travel.
We know that people, governments, things, and relationships will always fail us. Always. This process is ever reminding us to keep our hope in the Lord. He will never disappoint!
