I am blown away. But why should I be? Do I believe God owns everything or not? He is surely in the details, down to the last dollar. I have read many adoption blogs and have seen how God provided for families exactly what they needed for the next step in the process. Guess what? I have seen God's hand move this week. Undeniably. And He has used our church family & friends as His hands and feet in our family's life. Thank you to all those who have had a part in our BIG yard sale weekend.
Now, be prepared to be amazed at how God orchestrated each dollar amount this week.
We'll start with our letter from Show Hope last Tuesday. We have been given a $4000 grant!
Friday's yard sale brought in $1661.
Today's yard sale brought in $889.
Total all of those, and it is $6550! When our referral comes for our daughter, we will need to pay $6500! I am totally blown away. God allowed us to make $50 above our next expense. Kind of like a reminder that He is in charge of it all. Why is our faith so small many times? I hope you're encouraged by reading this. Because we sure are! The bottom line is: When God calls you to a task, to a ministry, to fulfill a job for Him, He will totally provide. He is able. And we give Him all the glory for His provision these last 10 days!
