And this pregnancy is much longer than 9 months. Since we started talking about adopting, it has been at least 3 1/2 years! And our documents aren't even in Ethiopia yet. Nope, they're on my kitchen table.
One little document missed the memo, and didn't make the trip to Harrisburg in February. So, he's being hand delivered by our State Rep on Monday to the Authentications Office.
After dealing with 2 countries, 2 provinces, and 3 states so far in this paper chase, I will be glad to get these out of my hands. And just like labor pains become a distant memory when you hold your baby, the stress of this process will be so worth it when our little girl is home.
